Inter-County Ambulance Service was founded in 1972 at a time when private healthcare in the United Kingdom was in its infancy.
Inter-County Ambulance established itself in these initial years by serving G.P's, NHS and private hospitals, as well as insurance companies and private individuals in and around the London area.
This paved the way for the private ambulance services in the UK and the company grew from strength to strength, maintaining these early relationships to this very day.
Through a continuous commitment to excellence, Inter-County has survived the last 35 years in an industry that has been unregulated throughout most of that time, and the company continues to move into the future with dedication and committment.
